Sharp melodies, melancholic sounds and ancient rhythms tell the story of the ‘Electro Nomad’ and his journey between the European Electro scene and Afro-Australian tribal grooves. The theatre group, Nouvelle Lune was founded in Carrara at the ‘Accademia di Belle Arti’, the young arists that make up the group have both personal and professional experience in many forms of acting, sculpture, illustration, mime, puppet theatre, musical and pedagogy.  Experience that has taken them to confront themselves with the reality of theatre and performance at international level, and also in unconventional surroundings both human and educational. These diverse experiences have combined naturally to create a project that unites the art of mime with juggling, that of street and mask theatre.

Murga is a form of popular musical theatre performed in Uruguay and in Argentina during the Carnival season. Murga groups operate in Montevideo and at the Buenos Aires Carnival, though to a lesser extent than in Montevideo; the Argentine murga is more centred on dancing and less on vocals than the Uruguayan one. Uruguayan murga has a counterpart in Cadiz, Spain from which it is derived, the chirigota, but over time the two have diverged into distinct forms.

KALARPPAYATTU is the oldest Indian martial art. Its technique consists of complex motions, which give special importance to the rapid movement of legs, knees and arms, and the strength of the hands and eyes. Its movements are in fact choreographies and the demonstration/show includes fights between two or three people in mock battles with bear hands or weapons: knives, sticks, swords and bucklers, spears and all ending with a spectacular fire show. MARCO DE MEO (Magenta, 1976). Professional actor and dancer, he studies contemporary dance and acting. From the study of the different disciplines he has created a personal way of performing. In 2008 the Elektromove Project was born which takes its inspiration from electronic music. The aim is to work on the drift and the resonance of the words, music and visuals to create a flexible performative structure able to follow the rhythms and feelings that evolve in various situations.

CHUMACHUMS is a performative and musical group developed over years of experience in the areas of instrumental and electronic music. The fusion of different elements makes Chuma Chums an original and unpredictable group that flows from trance and drum and bass, passing necessarily through punk and reggae. They use instruments from different musical cultures that they manage to blend into an overwhelming rhythm, Chuma Chums use bongos, electric guitars, drum machines, drums, resonance boxes and snare drums. To complete the show a group of performers and jugglers join in. They are Flambè, fire-breathers, tightrope walkers and professional fire-dancers.

FERNANDO COSTA was born and raised in Pelorinho, the old historical centre of Salvador di Bahia, Brazil. His introduction to art was through Afro percussion (samba and reggae), and then he moved into popular theatre and in 1997 he started studying different visual expressions. He specialises in sphero-graphic design, airbrush painting, copper engravings and performances. He currently practices Capoeira de Angola and Chi Kung. His imagination gives birth to works that are transcendental both in their aesthetic realisation and their content. In 2004 he moved to Bologna in Italy where he has started running workshops on the techniques he has developed and courses for children and adults in Capoeira
